IMT launches its new 3rd. generation web application. Built on top of the latest web technologies, it delivers a modular, extensible web portal with ample support for branding and customisation, in order to provide a comprehensive solution for you and your customers, no matter how advanced your requirements. IMT’s extensive experience over the past years, including feedback from customers, has been taken into account and carefully analysed to implement hundreds of user stories that all contributed to its unique, industry leading design.

Improving quality of service

Monitoring assets and cargo with the new web application helps lowering cost and improving the quality and safety of the service you deliver to your customers. It features a Fleet Analytics Dashboard which provides instant and intuitive insight into configurable fleet metrics and KPIs. Data tables offer spreadsheet-like features making it possible to quickly analyze data with just a few clicks. In addition to this, the export options to all common data formats make your telematics data available to business information tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Clik or your office software of choice. Process and fleet optimization to improve efficiency and save money has never been easier. 

Visual fleet management

For large(r) fleets, the new web application offers a powerful fleet management tool called Asset Group Navigator: Organize your fleet in sub fleets modeled after your company’s structure. Assign users, define user access control profiles, share geozones and other entities to avoid duplication. Hide entities that are not relevant or private. Asset Group Navigator’s graphical user interface makes it as easy as it gets.

Data protection and security

For legitimate IMT users the new web application offers named user profiles, which can be created and tweaked to individual requirements, making setting up new users a breeze. Users can only do and see what the user profile allows them to do and view. Even across company boundaries with your customers.

Be informed in real time

The new web application includes a powerful notification system, capable of delivering automated real time information about your assets and cargo whereabouts and status to your organization and your customers. Its highly configurable Notifications Feature ensures that warnings, alarms and alerts get delivered to the right users, by email, and scheduled for upcoming development, mobile (Android and iOS) or web browser push notifications. Configurable business rules make sure users only see what needs their attention.

Monitor your IMT devices and sensors

In order to monitor and manage IMT telematics device deployments (telematics devices and sensors) the new web application offers intuitive health and status management features called “Hardware mode”. View information about your IMT telematics devices and sensors, such as locations and diagnostic information. Hardware mode is only available to users who have permission to view hardware information, controlled by user access control profiles.

Enterprise integration and customisation

The new web application can be integrated with existing, generic or proprietary, logistics systems through its Transports API and extensions, making the new web application even more powerful and useful.   The Transports API exposes a generic model that allows IMT clients and their customers to compare scheduled events to telematically detected real events and verify if your KPIs are met.

The new web application also offers support for custom fields. Searchable and filterable custom fields are free properties associated with fleets or sub fleets (Asset Groups). They can be used in business rules, notifications and are displayed and searchable in the new web application’s tables. Custom fields can be synchronised through the IMT Platform API making integration with external systems even more seamless.

Training sessions and current web application

We will be holding a number of live training sessions. These sessions will present the new Web Application look and feel, feature functionalities and give you an overval overview.

Users can log in to the new web application with their existing usernames and passwords. And the current web application will remain accessible for the coming period.
